Unlike traditional classified directories that sell or broadcast customer phone numbers to dozens of telemarketers, PackersMoversCompare enforces an absolute Zero Spam Protocol:

Masked Contact Numbers: When eligible mover partners review your move inventory, your mobile number is strictly masked (e.g., +91 98450 •••••). Movers submit structured price bids through our platform without having direct access to call or message you until you explicitly choose them.

2. Information We Collect

We only collect information necessary to facilitate transparent relocation estimates:

  • Contact Information: Full name, verified mobile number, and email address.
  • Move Parameters: Origin address/locality, destination address/locality, move date, floor levels, elevator availability.
  • Household Inventory: List of furniture, appliances, fragile cartons, and vehicle transport requirements.
  • Payment & Milestone Data: Transaction references, escrow release status, and delivery completion confirmation OTP.

3. How Your Information Is Used

  • Matching your requirements with verified mover partners in your origin and destination corridor.
  • Enabling movers to calculate accurate, itemized, binding quotes.
  • Generating live move tracking tickets, ETA notifications, and delivery completion OTPs.
  • Platform dispute mediation and escrow refund administration.

4. Data Storage & Encryption Standards

All customer and partner data is stored in enterprise-grade cloud databases protected with SSL/TLS in transit and AES-256 encryption at rest. Passwords and administrative session tokens are cryptographically salted and signed with HMAC-SHA256.

5. Your Rights & Data Deletion

You may request an export of your personal data or request permanent deletion of your profile and move history at any time by contacting our Grievance Officer at privacy@packersmoverscompare.com.
